Här är ett litet galleri av konstnären Dave DeVries, han har gjort om barns teckningar, gjort dem mer realistiska och levande, detta är en del i ett projekt som heter Monster Engine, det är ett projekt han själv startat och hållit på med i elva år.The process is simple. I project a child's drawing with an opaque projector, faithfully tracing each line. Applying a combination of logic and instinct, I then paint the image as realistically as I can. My medium is mixed--primarily acrylic, airbrush, and colored pencil.
