Dan Piraro - Bizarro

Dan Piraro, född 1958, är en amerikansk serietecknare, känd för serien Bizarro som han skapade 1985. Han har av National Cartoonist Society utsetts till bästa skämttecknare 1999, 2000 och 2001. Piraro är vegan sedan 2002 och djurrättsfrågor har sedan dess blivit ett vanligt tema i hans serier. Han turnerar även sedan 2001 med en scenföreställning kallad The Bizarro Baloney Show.(Wikipedia)

Ni har säkert alla lagt märke till de små sakerna som ligger lite gömda i hans serierutor, efter lite letande hittade jag en förklaring till dem: have you noticed that most Bizarro cartoons include an eyeball (the Eyeball of Observation), a piece of pie (the Pie of Opportunity), a rabbit (the Bunny of Exuberance), an alien in a spaceship (the Flying Saucer of Possibility), the abbreviation "K2" (referring to the cartoonists children Kermit and Krapuzar), a crown (the Crown of Power), a stick of dynamite (the Dynamite of Unintended Consequences), a shoe (the Lost Loafer), and/or an upside down bird (the Inverted Bird) hidden somewhere in the cartoon.
